Mullin Visits Beaver, Laverne, Shattuck, and Woodward in 1st Official Statewide Tour

Yesterday, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) continued his inaugural tour of Western Oklahoma in Beaver, Laverne, Shattuck, and Woodward. These stops were part of Mullin’s first official statewide tour as a U.S. Senator, which kicked off Tuesday in Guymon and Boise City.

Mullin began the day at the Beaver County Stockyards, where he met with Commissioner Kerry Regier, the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce, and other county residents. During the visit, Senator Mullin answered pressing questions from Oklahomans on the drought, the upcoming farm bill, workforce shortages, and the burden of federal bureaucracy.

Mullin then traveled to Laverne to meet with local residents and learn more about the most pressing issues facing their community. Laverne residents asked important questions about Chinese entities purchasing U.S. farmland, Mullin’s support for the Second Amendment, and the importance of limited government to allow Oklahoma families and businesses to thrive.

Mullin then joined the Shattuck Chamber meeting at the Shattuck Senior Citizens Center to connect with county residents and share an update on his work in Washington, D.C. Mullin spoke with seniors, students, local leaders, and business owners about the burden of overregulation, VA health care, and preserving our constitutional freedoms.

Mullin spent the afternoon in Woodward, where he met with the Woodward Chamber of Commerce and took questions from residents about TikTok, American energy production, AI technology, and more. He then toured the High Plains Technology Center at Woodward Middle School to learn about the TAP program, which teaches trade skills and career development for students beginning in 6th grade.

Today, Senator Mullin will be in Lawton, where he will meet with Lawton residents, receive a briefing from Fort Sill, give remarks at the FISTA ribbon cutting, and end the day with an Altus Air Force Base brief and community meeting.
