Markwayne Mullin Recognizes 50th Anniversary of March for Life

Today, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) released the following statement on the 50th anniversary of the March for Life, reaffirming his belief that every child is worthy of life and protection from harm.

“Our country has made incredible strides this past year to protect the most vulnerable, but we know the work is far from over,” Mullin said. “It’s inspiring to see Americans across the county come together to be a voice for the voiceless, especially the younger generation who now carry the torch of those who have marched for the past 50 years.”

“As Americans, we are all endowed by our Creator with the unalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As the father of six amazing children, three of whom came into our lives through the blessing of adoption, the fight to preserve the dignity of life is a personal one. I am proud to represent and reside in the most pro-life state in the nation. It’s an honor to support pro-life initiatives in the Senate, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the Americans who have made it their mission to preserve the sanctity of life,” Mullin concluded.
